Blizzard Conditions Move Into Central Plains
Parts of the central Plains are bracing for a blizzard that blew down out of Colorado and into the High Plains yesterday (agriculture.com/weather).
Blizzard conditions are expected in some parts of the Plains, while most of the Dakotas and western Nebraska also face strong winds that could potentially cause damage, according to the National Weather Service (weather.gov).
Southern states also face damaging winds and potential tornadoes as part of a storm that blew through eastern Texas yesterday, the NWS said.
The only other part of the country that’s expecting any sort of weather event is a small pocket in central Missouri where flooding could be a problem due to heavy rains the past few days, according to the agency.
