Rain to Delay Soybean Planting, Wheat Harvest

As flooding occurs in Iowa and Oklahoma Monday, wet weather is the theme expected for the Midwest into late June, according to Freese-Notis Weather Inc. 

Overnight, over 3.00 inches fell in central Iowa, flooding rivers and fields.

The 10- to 15-day weather outlook could cause delayed soybean planting and wheat harvest activities, says Dan Hicks, Freese-Notis Weather inc. senior meteorologist.
