SF Blog: What I'm Excited to See at the National Farm Machinery Show

It’s Valentine’s Day! And instead of enjoying a candlelit dinner and roses, I’m hopping on a plane and spending some quality time with Dave Mowitz as we travel to Louisville, Kentucky, for the National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS). We’ve got schedules packed full of appointments with companies bringing new products and research to the market, and we can’t wait to share it all with you!

I’m particularly excited about seeing what New Holland has up its sleeve. I’m hoping to see what the new Rustler 850 is like and whatever else the company has in store, which a little birdie tells me is a new product lineup of some sort.

I’ll hit the Case IH, John Deere, and AGCO booths to catch up on their latest and greatest products, of course, but I’m also really intrigued by the new products being launched by a slew of other machinery companies.

McCormick will show off their FOUR new tractor lines at the show; Vermeer is going to give me the scoop on a new baler with chopping units made specifically for silage baling; GSI will be debuting a new portable dryer; and Camso will educate me on its latest track and track systems that I can’t wait to hear about.

Last but not least, I’ll visit the ice cream stands at the show to keep up my enthusiasm!

Keep your eye on for coverage from Dave and I, and follow me on twitter (@annammcconnell) for updates throughout the show.

Louisville, here we come!
