AGCO Partners With AgIntegrated Connection
An agreement between AGCO Corporation and AgIntegrated (AGI) will deliver information management services that give AGCO customers the ability to more easily connect with their agronomy service providers, create seamless data connectivity, and digitize the farm. Launching this year in the U.S., the new services complement the services currently available through AGCO’s Fuse platform.
The partnership will bring myriad new advanced programming interface (API) connections, which, in turn will afford AGCO customers more choices for their wireless data transfer needs. Instead of requiring multiple paths to communicate between technologies, AgIntegrated’s Onsite QC Pro data hub streamlines agronomic data transfer through a neutral platform. What that means is easier data flow and better decision-making.
Depending on equipment brand and model, AGCO customers can connect to the data hub using TaskDoc Pro, VarioDoc Pro, and Go-Task. These pipelines offer a seamless integration from machinery to multiple Farm Management Information Systems (FMIS). This gives farmers the ability to send their agronomic data to and from their AGCO machines and agronomic partners.
AGCO customers will also have access to any FMIS, either through a direct connection into AGI OnSite or direct download and upload, thanks to this partnership. Contact your FMIS provider to ask about the available options.
“AgIntegrated is thrilled to have AGCO’s TaskDoc Pro, VarioDoc Pro, and Go-Task capabilities available to the industry software and service providers leveraging our Onsite integration platform,” says Mike Santostefano, AgIntegrated’s vice president of business development. “The AGCO relationship and connection with Onsite QC Pro enables seamless communications with AGCO equipment with the ability to translate and support the AGCO XML prescription and as-applied/planted/harvest data file formats.”
