Control in the Zone

Engage Zone Control, a retrofit section-control kit, has been custom-designed and built for John Deere 1910 air carts.

Introduced by Intelligent Agricultural Solutions, LLC, the kit easily installs underneath the meter housing and integrates with the existing GPS mapping system to identify areas of potential overlap. It uses electric motors to actuate slide gates that shut off up to eight sections per tank (up to three tanks per cart).

“Engage Zone Control is advancing engineering in crop production by providing an affordable way for growers to utilize section-control technology on their older model air carts,” says Joe Heilman, general manager at Intelligent Ag. “This enables tens of thousands of growers to run a more cost-efficient seeding operation, ultimately reducing their input costs and improving their bottom line.”
