Growers Insight to focus on building, implementing comprehensive year-by-year plans for farmers

Aaron Magenheim and Danny Royer have been integrating agriculture and technology across hundreds of farming operations for more than a decade.

Coming from the California ag industry, the pair noticed that while technologies have improved through the years, adoption rates were still low. In addition, they would often find it difficult to realize a clear return on investment for new innovations. They also saw that current on-farm technologies were only being used to about 10% to 20% of their full potential. In order to really help farmers, Magenheim and Royer knew this had to change.

To focus on building and implementing innovative and comprehensive year-by-year plans for farmers, they launched Growers Insight. By combining all of their experiences and processes, they streamlined and tested an approach for nearly two years. The result is Grower AgTech Audit, which provides an assessment of the grower’s operation and paves the way to increased productivity, profits, and sustainability.

“It’s like using Google Maps navigation to build your farm strategy,” says Magenheim, Growers Insight CEO and co-founder.

The two-step process starts with a quick, FREE “health check” survey. This information provides a farmer with valuable business intelligence insights to develop a baseline for today while highlighting his priorities and opportunities. If the farmer wants to take it a step further, he can have the Growers Insight team perform a one- to five-day onsite grower audit where they work together through the system to build a step-by-step three-year action strategy.

“We are quickly able to help customers gain visibility and start seeing massive improvements throughout their operations almost instantly,” Magenheim says.

“The Audit’s systematic review helps you take an objective look at the current state of your organization,” says Royer, Growers Insight COO and co-founder. “It provides crucial insights and recommendations on the types of technologies to consider and what types of infrastructures you will need for successful adoption. We help farmers identify what’s important to them, things they might be missing and the things they enjoy doing the most. Then, we build a strategy that fits their needs and drives them toward achieving their business goals and objectives.”

Growers Insight has started partnering with a select number of implementation partners in the U.S. and Latin America who are being trained on how to leverage the methodology and process Magenheim and Royer have built. The pair are also working directly with farmers through agricultural partners who want to offer this solution to their clients but are not equipped to provide consulting services.
