Raven Releases Two New Precision Agriculture Products
By combining auto steer, GPS, and Slingshot, the RS1 (pictured right) is an intuitive, easy-to-use unit for navigation. Its high level of accuracy at both low and high speeds, along with its ability to quickly acquire the line, improves efficiency and gives producers the power to cover more acres in a day.
Best-in-class diagnostics gather machine performance data and alert Raven if an issue is found. It then connects producers to support as needed to minimize downtime. Designed with a simple setup and integrated help guides, the unit is further enhanced by Slingshot, which provides remote support, file transfer, and more. An RS1 kit starts at $3,895.
A 7-inch lightweight field computer, the CR7, is equipped with customizable in-job layouts. A simple widget concept, easily accessible settings, and ISO VT and Task Controller capabilities make it an affordable plug-and-play system. The unit is compatible with Slingshot file transfer and remote support, auto steer and guidance, AccuBoom, Raven serial consoles, and more. A CR7 kit starts at $1,395.
“At Raven, our mission is to make application control and input management simple,” says Tim Heins, director of product management. “These products show our commitment not only to providing groundbreaking innovations, but also to further improving existing technologies and designing products that can be more easily adapted and utilized by our customers.”
Both products will be released to ship in September 2017. To learn more visit ravenind.com.
