DynaJet Flex 7120 Manages Spray Quality for Range of Speeds, Rates
Traditionally, you have had to compromise when it comes to spraying crop-protection products. That’s because it required you to carefully balance ground speed and operating pressure.
How it affects you
With the new DynaJet Flex 7120 nozzle-control system, you can regulate the pressure and droplet size across a wide range of speeds. This allows you to choose the optimum speed for the conditions while maintaining consistent droplet size. The compact, touchscreen user interface also features a complete nozzle database for easy droplet size selection.
In order to minimize waste and overspray, the system provides instant tip shutoff. With the ability to adjust nozzle flow capacity from the cab, you can operate at a wider range of ground speeds or application volumes without having to change nozzles, which results in greater productivity.
“The days of simple, glyphosate-based weed-control programs are largely behind us. Today’s variety of chemistries requires more intensive management of spray quality to ensure proper pest control while preventing damage to off-target crops,” says Tim Stuenkel, global marketing manager for TeeJet Technologies. “The DynaJet Flex 7120 provides a solution that ensures optimum spray application while boosting the operating efficiency of the machine.”
The DynaJet Flex 7120 nozzle-control system includes the DynaJet console and interface, driver modules, nozzle body-mounted solenoid tip shutoffs, and related harnesses. The system is used in conjunction with an existing rate controller and features a modular design that can be retrofitted onto a wide range of new or used sprayers.
Pricing will vary depending on boom size and tip spacing. A typical list price for a 90-foot boom with 20-inch tip spacing (54 nozzles) is $19,214.
