Mike McGinnis, Successful Farming’s Markets Editor, visits via Skype with Terry Sjuts, a Humphrey, Nebraska, livestock producer who is facing euthanizing animals, due to the new coronavirus shutting down meatpacking plants. After a Twitter posting a plea for buyers, Sjuts is receiving calls from across the country from people interested in buying some of his hogs that will otherwise be euthanized.
